JOB SUMMARY
The Computer Network Support Specialist is responsible for assisting and advising employees within the organization using computer software or equipment. He/she is also responsible for analyzing, testing, troubleshooting, and evaluating existing network systems, such as, local area network (LAN) and Internet systems.

Duties and Responsibilities |
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB
• Provide technical support to all departments connected to the mainframe
• Set up new computer systems, perform routine maintenance, and assist in application installs
• Maintain database optimization, backups, and monitor SQL for possible issues
• Coordinate changes for applications, process improvements and document changes
• Create and maintain Data Transformation Services (DTS) packages and scheduling
• Create process and work flow documentation
• Plan and maintain security for databases
• Identify and resolve hardware and software problems

Educational and or Experience Requirements |
EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field required
• 0-3 years of related database administration experience
• Knowledge and experience of the following computer applications: Solomon, VMware, NetApp, ERP System, CRM, SQL, visual basic, .net programming, and vb.net
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other applications are plus
