Primary Function

The Inside Sales Representative provides dealer account management and facilitates all aspects of the sales process for new and existing KIOTI dealers which includes developing sales solutions while providing outstanding customer service and follow-up. This individual will partner with Territory Managers to increase communications and ensure sales efforts are maximized and is responsible for product promotion, order processing, shipment and freight coordination, managing inventory levels including backorders, managing tractor shipping and assembly schedules, obtaining credit approval, handling shipping discrepancies and coordination of returns.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand sales objectives and set/accomplish individual performance goals accordingly
• Communicate and train dealers and Territory Managers for current sales programs and promotions
• Provide resolution to sales-related issues from dealers and reevaluate solutions where necessary
• Build close relationships with dealers and provide inventory management solutions between dealers, Territory Managers, and Finance department
• Close sale opportunities by executing all order fulfillment procedures
• Provide outstanding customer service and post sales satisfaction, facilitating long-term dealer relationships
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and Territory Managers to set account and territory plans to meet or exceed sales quotas on an annual/quarterly/monthly basis
• Record and track sales activities in CRM database
• Process orders to fulfillment via SOLOMON and E-commerce while communicating expected delivery date and explaining stock-outs
• Develop accounts by reviewing dealer's buying history and market share to suggest top-selling models
• Monitor dealer stocking levels and inventory turns to manage field inventories
• Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions, participating in product demonstrations, and attending KIOTI University
• Attend meetings and strategy sessions to remain informed of external and internal opportunities or threats to products and sales
• Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends to identify sales opportunities
• Maintain accurate records and comply with company reporting policies and procedures
• Provide phone support concentrating on dealer questions regarding availability, pricing, shipping, and invoicing issues
• Plan and schedule the coordination of truck line and dealer pickups
• Collaborate with accounting to review invoice discrepancies, obtain credit approvals, issue dealer credit memos, and inventory vouching
• Work with warehouse teams to manage KIOTI inventories on assembly and shipping schedules
• Assist dealers with processing shortage/damage claims or return authorizations
• Support Marketing department via the scheduling and shipment of assembled units for trade shows and photo shoots
• Participate in corporate and dealer trade shows

Educational and or Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2-5 years experience with BS/BA or equivalent industry experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel in addition to basic computer knowledge
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Individual must be dependable and have superior telephone/communication skills
• Ability to articulate and deliver solution based selling techniques
• Can work independently as a self-motivated member of a team with contagious positive attitude
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, co-workers, and dealers
• Detail oriented, well organized, and have the ability to multi-task in a results oriented business environment
• Solomon, CRM and other applications are plus.
