The Database Administrator ensures systems support at all times, on-call, rotationally, or as required. Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification, or disclosure. Schedule and plan the installation and testing of new products and seek improvements to existing computer systems. Develop standards and guidelines to guide the use and acquisition of software and to protect vulnerable information. Test programs or databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications as needed.
Maintain a high level competency in SQL Server and applications that have SQL databases also skilled in vb.net, .net programming, visual basic and SQL Query languages. Maintain knowledge of Microsoft system administration tools and processes. Ability to analyze system problems, determine root causes and establish resolution. Document system processes & keep up to date at all times.

|Educational and or Experience Requirements||
BS degree in computer science preferred. Associates degree in computer science (related to database administration field) required. 3-5 years of related database administration experience.
Knowledge and experience of the following computer applications: Solomon, ERP System, CRM, SQL, visual basic, .net programming, vb.net as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other applications are plus.
Ability to write database process and work flow and maintain effectively and efficiently as standard operating procedure.
