KIOTI embarks on major process upgrades to exceed the needs of customer base
WENDELL, N.C. – Feb. 28, 2014 – KIOTI Tractor, a division of Daedong-USA, Inc., announces the completion of an extensive update to its parts warehouse in an effort to increase efficiencies and better serve customers and dealerships. The overhaul, which took place throughout 2013, included a warehouse redesign, improvements on processing times and investments in stocking systems and packaging.
After taking a closer look at its parts warehouse, KIOTI Tractor developed a comprehensive strategy to restructure the system in an effort maximize support for dealerships. By redesigning the warehouse, KIOTI was able to add approximately 5,000 new part locations. Other upgrades included an investment in a carton-flow system, which more than doubled the capacity rate of parts shipped per day, and enhanced packaging materials to protect goods during shipment. The new upgrades have allowed KIOTI to improve order-processing time by 50 percent, enabling dealers to more effectively address their customer needs.
