KIOTI Tractor Launches Microsite to Showcase Tier 4 Tractors

KIOTITier4.com displays the powerful and eco-friendly elements of the new tractor models

 

WENDELL, N.C. – Jan. 15, 2014 – KIOTI Tractor, a division of Daedong-USA, Inc., today announces the launch of a new microsite, www.kiotitier4.com, designed to inform site visitors about the company’s tractor portfolio that now features new EPA-certified Tier 4 technology. The microsite highlights the physical and environmental features and benefits of the new Tier 4 tractors in the NX, RX and CK series. It also provides specifications on each of the tractors, as well as information about the Daedong® Tier 4 Eco Diesel engine and how to locate a dealer.

“When we found out KIOTI would be one of the first tractor manufacturers worldwide to have Tier 4 compliant compact tractors available, we knew there was a big opportunity to position them as a leader,” said Billy Barnes, creative director at Howard/Merrell, the agency behind the concept, design and development of the site. “A microsite made sense because we had a lot of information to convey. We also needed a place where consumers and dealers could go to see the entire Tier 4 line.”

The concept of the site originated from the two key benefits of the new Tier 4 tractors: lower fuel emissions and increased power. Howard/Merrell created two characters to portray those benefits and brought it all to life with parallax scrolling, animation and video to tell the complete story. The end result is an informative, entertaining digital experience that helps KIOTI stand out against its competition.

In October 2013, KIOTI Tractor launched its Tier 4 line during its Annual Dealer Meeting in Raleigh, N.C. Dealers tested each of the tractors, learned more about the future of the Tier 4 market and witnessed the power of the Daedong® Tier 4 Eco Diesel engines. Designed for durability, each of the new tractors is equipped with a Tier 4 Eco Diesel engine, which endured prolonged exposure to extreme heat and cold during testing and still maintained performance and reliability.
