KIOTI Tractor a Division of Daedong-USA, Inc., recently participated in the Raleigh Police Memorial Foundation’s annual golf tournament at North Ridge Country Club. The Foundation is dedicated to honoring the lives and memories of Raleigh Police officers who have been severely injured or lost their lives in the line of duty while protecting the city of Raleigh. In addition to a team of four golfers, KIOTI provided two KIOTI MECHRON UTV’s to help the Foundation manage the event and donated drawstring bags to house event materials and promotional items for each golfer.
Representing KIOTI Tractor at the event were Peter Dong Kyun Kim, Michael Boucher, Joseph Jung and Gary Mize from The Tractor Place, KIOTI¡¯s local Knightdale, NC dealer.
“We believe very strongly in supporting our local community and the causes that are near and dear to our city,” states Peter Dong Kyun Kim, Chief Executive Officer of Daedong-USA, Inc. KIOTI Tractor Division. “Participating in this event demonstrates our gratitude to local law enforcement officials for their daily efforts to ensure our safety. At the same time, it allows us to honor and give back to those who lost their lives or were injured while protecting our community.”
The event kicked off with a shot gun start at 10:00 am and was followed by a catered meal and awards ceremony, with prizes for the lowest scoring team, the longest drive and the best close-up and/or “Pot of Gold” on Part Threes. This year marked the third anniversary of the Foundation’s golf tournament.
In addition to supporting the local Raleigh Police Memorial Foundation, the event also provided a teambuilding and networking opportunity for participating members of KIOTI’s staff. This is the second consecutive year that KIOTI Tractor has participated in the Foundation’s event.
The Raleigh Police Memorial Foundation was founded in 2009 by a group of retired and active police officers to honor their fallen colleagues. Proceeds of all foundation events are donated to a memorial honoring law enforcement officials and to the families of officers who have been killed or injured on the job.
