My wife and I purchased our KIOTI CK20HST with a loader and hoe at the Hastings County Plowing Match last August from Terry Kerby. (Kerby Independent Tractor Service) I went to every booth selling a comparable tractor and let them know that I was there to buy a KIOTI. I promised them a sale if they would take the time to convince me otherwise. They either didn’t take me seriously, or knew when they were beat because I returned to the KIOTI display more eager than ever to make the purchase. I sure wasn’t expecting to get an argument from Terry when I asked him to write up the sale. He asked me if I was sure that this was the right tractor for what I wanted to do. It was a lot of money to spend, and he wanted me to do more than just kick the tires before signing on the dotted line. Terry said “why don’t I drop it off at your place for a couple of days and you can make sure it is what you want.” That is exactly what he did. Every one of my buddies and all of my neighbors had a turn at the controls. My front yard looked like the surface of the moon from all the test holes we dug with the hoe. I had it a week before I could get in to sign the deal. I told Terry that he was the only dealer at the plowing match that suggested that I could demo their equipment. He said, “l let you in on a secret. I do this all the time and I have never had to go back and pick one up yet.” I believe him! If you get your hands on one, you won’t want to give it back either. We couldn’t be happier with our KIOTI and Kerby Independent Tractor Service.
