KIOTI Tractor Revamps MECHRON Series With New Additions

The MECHRON 2200PS and 2240 ultimate transport vehicles bring work and play together

 WENDELL, N.C. – January 28, 2015 – KIOTI Tractor, a division of Daedong-USA, Inc., announces the addition of two new models to its MECHRON series. Featuring new interior and exterior enhancements, power steering and a new two-row model, the MECHRON® Ultimate Transport VehiclesTM (UTV) is built to get work done.

The KIOTI MECHRON 2200PS features a wide three-passenger layout and is equipped with a powerful 22 HP Daedong diesel engine, user-controlled two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive and, power steering for exceptional control and comfort. The continuously variable transmission (CVT) and hi-low shift speeds allow for more automobile-like operation and work versatility. The steel-structured frame, large tires, and front and rear independent suspension create high ground clearance (12-inches) and provide a smooth and even ride on rough terrain or when carrying heavy cargo. Weighing 1,939 pounds, the MECHRON 2200PS can handle upwards of 1,100 pounds in its spacious cargo bed and it can tow up to 1,300 pounds.

The MECHRON 2240 is as tough and dependable as its predecessor, but with twice the room. This newly designed UTV features two-row bench seating and is equipped with a powerful 22 HP Daedong diesel engine, CVT transmission with four-wheel drive and standard hydraulic power steering for smooth and responsive handling. With two-inch rear hitch receiver, the MECHRON 2240 has a 1,300-pound towing capacity. The heavy-duty cargo bed has a 1,325-pound payload capacity and comes with an optional hydraulic dump kit. The MECHRON 2240 is also equipped with four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes, adjustable wishbone suspension, large tires and enhanced frame rails for higher ground clearance and added support.

In addition to the technical enhancements, the new MECHRON features a new grill design, and optional windshield kit in choice of polycarbonate or laminated safety glass.. Both models are available in MECHRON orange or green and are available in three tire options: heavy-duty worksite, turf or ATV.
