For Dennis Couture, working the grounds of his family-owned business, as well as his residence, was taking up an increasing amount of his free time. To streamline the work and make it more manageable, he began considering the purchase of a compact piece of equipment. After some preliminary research, he found just what he was looking for in KIOTI Tractor’s new CS2410 subcompact tractor model.
Couture’s purchase not only gave him the equipment he needed, but also made him a part of KIOTI Tractor’s history. Unbeknownst to him at the time of his purchase, he was the third customer in North America to own this recently introduced tractor model.
Couture has an acre and a half of property at his home in Lunenburg and also helps maintain the grounds of his family business in Lancaster, New Hampshire. In addition to his typical chores, his after-hours hobby is “sugaring” – the tapping of maple trees to produce syrup. All three of these things drove Couture’s need for a multi-purpose piece of equipment.
As with many consumers today, Couture researched various subcompact tractor brands before heading out to an equipment dealership. After arriving at the dealership, he explained that based on his research, he was interested in the CS2410 because he felt it would help him complete everything from mowing the lawn, to moving sap-storing tanks, to pulling out fence posts.
“Dennis had done his research before he came into our store. We assisted him throughout the purchasing process to ensure we understood his needs, that the CS2410 was the right choice and that he was aware of the available options,” Parks said.
On May 17, Parks delivered the KIOTI CS2410 to Couture’s home in Lunenburg. Couture opted to include a front-end loader and mid-mount mower attachment with his purchase, so he could get started on all the projects he’d envisioned. Because of the initial limited supply of the model and high demand for the unit, Parks did not yet have a CS2410 unit in stock. With a firm belief in customer service, Parks worked with another KIOTI Dealer to make sure he was able to provide the customer with the product he wanted and a premier buying experience.
Couture put his new KIOTI subcompact tractor to work immediately. He and his 16-year-old son Joe enjoy riding the machine to mow the lawn, move sap tanks across the maple sugar lots — and even to help re-surface their driveway with blue stone.
“I did the whole driveway in only two hours,” Couture said. “I can’t believe the phenomenal power the CS2410 boasts given its compact size. Whether it’s mowing on hills, towing pallets or moving 275-gallon sap tanks, it doesn’t flinch.”
Couture also plans to use the KIOTI CS2410 to pull out fence posts and remove snow in the winter months. Couture co-owns the sugaring equipment with friends, and said his new KIOTI subcompact tractor will be extremely busy in the months and years ahead.

“I was using the loader to haul mulch around the property when my wife asked to run the tractor. I figured I’d let her have a go at it to get it out of her system. She loved it so much that I now have to hide the keys,” Couture said, then laughed. “The entire family is pleased with our KIOTI CS2410 subcompact tractor purchase.”
