Farming and football come together at NCSU Ag Day

WENDELL, N.C.— September 24, 2015 – KIOTI Tractor is excited to join NC State Athletics as a presenting sponsor of North Carolina State University’s third annual “Ag Day” on October 1-3, 2015. Created to honor the state’s $80 billion agricultural business and encourage youths to pursue a career in the industry, the three-day event will bring farming and football together. Ag Day will culminate on Saturday, October 3, with the N.C. State Wolfpack taking on the Louisville Cardinals at Carter-Finely Stadium.

Ag Day will feature lead-in events on campus for students and alumni on Thursday and Friday, October 1-2, followed by numerous Ag Day-themed activities planned for Saturday, October 3, including a tailgate event at PNC Arena complete with a family-friendly Fan Zone, agricultural machinery displays and photo opportunities prior to kick off.

“KIOTI Tractor is excited to be a part of Ag Day to salute the state’s long-standing and prosperous agricultural industry,” says Peter Dong Kyun Kim, president and chief executive officer of Daedong-USA, Inc., KIOTI Tractor Division. “We are proud to support the N.C. State’s efforts to cultivate a future generation of farmers and agricultural leaders who will work to improve upon the agribusiness industry—on and off the field.”

As a sponsor, KIOTI Tractor representatives will be in the Fan Zone outside of PNC Arena, promoting their new 2015 ACC QB Challenge app and giving away KIOTI prize bags to lucky visitors. Additionally at PNC Arena, fans can get a close look at tractors and UTVs from KIOTI’s new CK10, PX and MECHRON series.

During the game, KIOTI Tractor will be recognized for its contribution to the endowment of the Ag Day Scholarship.
